The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider her representation dated 19.08.2016 seeking deputation of a Surveyor attached to his office to survey her land and earmark the same by measurements and accordingly issue Patta to her land in her favour.

According to the petitioner, she purchased an extent of land measuring 3 grounds (7,200 sq. ft.) comprised in T.S.No.15, Block No.1 of No.109, Puliyur Village, together with a hut in a portion of it (put over an extent of 100 sq. ft of land) situated at Saravana Nagar, Chennai 600 094 within the SubRegistration District of Kodambakkam from one D.Santhanalakhsmi, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

W/o N.Devaraj vide Sale Deed dated 28.12.1987, registered as Document No.4969 of 1987 in the SRO, Kodambakkam. 3.

It is the case of the petitioner that she applied for issuance of Patta with the 2nd respondent on 14.10.2015 and upon directions, she submitted a fresh application on 11.03.2016 with requisite documents and the petitioner was directed to contact the Surveyor ten days later. Since there was inordinate delay in surveying the land, the petitioner again made a representation to the 2nd respondent on 19.08.2016. Since, no steps are being taken by the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner, she is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material documents available on record. 5.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2016 seeking deputation of a Surveyor to survey her land and issue Patta, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
