16.02.2023, 13.03.2023 and 20.03.2023 and take all corrective measures immediately to restore the petitioner and his family with status of equality at Lingappareddimedu Village (L.R.Medu village), Arambakkam Post, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District thereby eradicating discrimination and targetting being imposed by respondents 4 to 8 on the petitioner and his family.

O R D E R
Mr.S.John J.Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for R1 to R3, being the Collector, Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) and Tahsildar respectively and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission. Hence, by consent expressed by Mr.Anantha Rama Krishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.John J.Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. No notice is issued to the private respondents, arrayed as R4 to R7, as their interests have been taken note of and duly protected by virtue of this order.
2. The prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus directing R1 and 2/4
R2 to take cognizance of his representations and take remedial action as against the discriminatory tactics of the residents of Lingappareddimedu Village (L.R.Medu village), where he resides.
3. According to the petitioner, he had availed some loans from R4/private respondent and despite his attempts to repay the same, he is being threatened by R4. He has made a request before the elders in the village, R5 to R8, who unfairly took the side of R4. He states that himself and his family are being discriminated against and are not being permitted to participate in the village festivals and functions.
4. Objecting to the unfair treatment based on a private dispute between himself and R4, he has made representations to the official respondents as well, to no avail.
5. The entirety of the cause of action is a private dispute between the petitioner and R4 and the only manner by which this Court can intervene could be to direct the official respondents to look into the grievances of the petitioner in accordance with law.
6. Let a peace committee meeting be conducted between the petitioner and the private respondents as well as any others who may be relevant to the cause of action to attempt that the grievances of the petitioner are addressed, strictly in accordance with law. 3/4
