ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY J.,] The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders on the application dated 31.05.2014 and reminders dated 06.03.2015 and 09.04.2015 for the issuance of Kurumans (ST) Community Certificate to her children viz. R.Abavanan and R.Kavi, based upon the community certificate already issued to their father and close blood relatives. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she applied for the community certificate for her children on 31.05.2014 and inspite of her reminders dated 06.03.2015 and 09.04.2015, the respondent has not issued the community certificate to her children till this date.

3. Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 31.05.2014 and pass orders within a stipulated time.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, We direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 31.05.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
