O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to provide alternative job to the petitioner in the respondents Corporation.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner was appointed as a casual Driver in the Thiranchinnamalai Transport Corporation, Trichy district and subsequently, his services were regularised. On account of an accident, the writ petitioner sustained injuries and unable to perform the duties and responsibilities of a driver. Thus, he made a request to provide alternate job as per the provisions of the Statute.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents states that the case of the writ petitioner will be considered based on the medical reports and other documents.

4. In view of the submissions made by the respective learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner and the respondents, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 18.01.2013 in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation and other relevant documents along with the order passed in the present writ petition.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 05.10.2018 pns/sk Internet:Yes/No
