Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to withdraw the case S.C.No.20 of 2019 on the file of Principal District and Sessions Court, Ariyalur and to transfer the same to Principal District and Sessions Court, Tiruchirapalli or any other District and Sessions Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been seeking direction to withdraw the case S.C.No.20 of 2019 on the file of Principal District and Sessions Court, Ariyalur and to transfer the same to Principal District and Sessions Court, Tiruchirapalli or any other District and Sessions Court.

2. It is seen that the petitioner is an accused in S.C.No.20 of 2019 for the charges of 294 (b) and 307 IPC. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Public Prosecutor in the Court below is the co-brother of the deceased. Hence, in order to ensure fair and free manner of the proceedings, he prays to transfer the case in S.C.No.20 of 2019 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Ariyalur to the Principal District and Sessions Court, Tiruchirapalli or any other District.

4.The grounds raised by the petitioner to transfer the case in S.C.No.20 of 2019 is not sufficient. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant the prayer sought for by the petition. Accordingly this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 5.However, If the petitioner faces any threat, he is at liberty to make a complaint as against that person before the Jurisdiction Police Station.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
