ORDER
(Order of the Court was delivered by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the mother of one G.Manimala, aged 19 years. According to the petitioner, the second respondent had abducted the detenue. In this regard, a complaint has also been made to the police. But so far the detenue has not been rescued is the grievance of the petitioner. It is brought to our notice that the said case was registered in Crime No.85 of 2017, on the file of the first respondent.
2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenue-G.Manimala has been produced before this Court, by the first respondent. She told us that when she was doing 11th standard, she had fallen in love with the second respondent and married him on 07.02.2017. Now she has returned to her parental home. The said statement is recorded.
3. In view of the above, we find that there is no illegal custody of the detenue by anybody. Since the detenue, being a major, now wants to go with the petitioner, she is set at liberty to choose her own way of life. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed. (S.N.J.)
