2. At the time of admission, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the appeal against the RLTOP decree was listed for final arguments on 06.03.2026 and therefore prayed for an adjournment assuring that he would not press the EP till the next date of hearing.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for further hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the respondents as assured did not take any coercive steps during the pendency of the EP, but however the appeal filed by the petitioners was dismissed on merits. The learned counsel further submitted that since the above CRP was filed against the order passed in the memo filed by the petitioners seeking adjournment on the ground that RLTA was posted for final arguments on 06.03.2026, in view of dismissal of the RLTA, the Civil Revision Petition becomes infructuous.
4. This Court finds that the CRP.No.1211 of 2026, is filed against the order dated 25.02.2026, in the memo filed by the petitioners to adjourn the execution proceedings on the ground that the appeal filed by them was listed for final arguments on 06.03.2026. However, since the appeal itself was dismissed, this Court finds that nothing survives for adjudication in the Civil Revision Petition, which is filed only against an order passed in the memo dated 25.02.2026. 2/4
5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 15.04.2026 Index:Yes/No Speaking Order:Yes/No dna To The XV Small Causes Court, Chennai.
