Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records, relating to the petitioner's son detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 19.12.2019 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo C.No.88/G/IS/2019 quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son viz., T.Rahul, son of Thangaraj, aged about 21 years, before this Court and set him at liberty, Now the Petitioner's Son detained at central prison, coimbatore.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the matter has become infructuous, inasmuch as, the period of detention has already expired.

In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
