Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for a period of four weeks to execute the order dated 25.02.2021 made in Crl.M.P.No.2158 of 2021 in Crl.M.P.No.5414 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.31699 of 2019. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. A.P.SATHYAMURTHY, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.S.KARTHIKEYAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to extend the time for a period of four weeks to execute the order dated 25.02.2021 made in Crl.M.P.No.2158 of 2021 in Crl.M.P.No.5414 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.31699 of 2019.
2. Heard both sides.
3.Earlier, this Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No. 31699 of 2019 dated 03.02.2020 with condition to deposit a title deed worth about Rs.3,00,00,000/- and to execute the surety before the Trial Court within a stipulated period. Since the petitioner is not able to execute the sureties and produce the tittle deed, this Court by the order dated 25.02.2021 in Crl.M.P.No.2158 of 2021 extended the time by two weeks to comply the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
conditional order. Due to Covid-19 the petitioner is not able to appear before the learned Magistrate and execute the order. Hence, the present miscellaneous petition is filed.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, two weeks time is granted from today (i.e. 01.04.2021) to the petitioner to execute the order dated 03.02.2020 made in Crl.O.P.No.31699 of 2019. Failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand automatically dismissed.
