O R D E R

This revision petition is filed seeking for a direction for disposal of the Execution Petition in E.P. No.116/2017 in CMA No.11/1996 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Tiruvannamalai.

2. According to the petitioners, lands were acquired by the 1st respondent, for providing house sites, under Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Harijan Welfare Act, 1978. Award was passed in proceedings No. 13/15/96 dated 27.03.1996. The land owners namely, Neelavathi and Sundaram filed CMA No.11/1996 seeking for enhancement of compensation amount. The appeal was disposed on 05.11.2015. No further appeal was filed challenging the enhancement of compensation amount. The petitioners, who are the legal heirs of the land owners, have filed the execution petition in REP No. 116 of 2017 claiming the entire award amount along with interest. Since the proceedings are delayed before the execution court, the present revision has been filed seeking the aforesaid prayer.

3. In view of the above facts, the Executing Court is directed to dispose of the said REP No.116/2017, in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no other impediment.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
