ORDER

The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 111, 318(4) of BNS, 2023 and 43, 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondent police on instructions, submitted that the petitioner was already arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
