Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant interim Injunction Restraining the Respondents 1 to 4 any further construction on the Chitlapakkam Lake and its bunds and areas abutting the lake(in WMP.No.2272/2017) pending disposal of the above WP.No.2291/2017.

Order: This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.S.VAIDYANATHAN P-IN-P, and of MR.T.N.RAJAGOPALAN, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice on behalf of the 1 to 4 respondents the court made the following order:- Mr.T.N.Rajagopalan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for the respondents.

2.On hearing the learned counsel for parties, it is directed that no construction shall be carried out on the Chitlapakkam lake and in the bund area abutting the lake.
