... Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents 1 and 2 for having not only violated but also disobeyed the order of this Court made in W.P.No.19724 of 2024 dated 23.07.2024.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 23.07.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.19724 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to conduct a fresh enquiry and complete the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order, and further directing the Disciplinary Authority to complete the entire disciplinary proceedings within a further period of two weeks.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order dated 23.07.2024 in W.P.No.19724 of 2024, passed by this Court, a Writ Petition in W.P.No.13821 of 2025 has been filed, seeking a direction to direct the first respondent to permit the petitioner to engage an Advocate to defend his case in the enquiry for the charges levelled against him dated 02.03.2022 and 11.03.2022. This Court has also granted a stay till 09.07.2025, on 10.06.2025.

In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has filed another writ petition to appoint an advocate for conducting his case before the Disciplinary Authority and obtained a stay before this Court, no contempt is made out as against the respondents. 4.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
