Mr.D.Suriyanarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the 1st https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent to dispose of the appeal filed on 02.06.2017 challenging the order passed by the 3rd respondent dated 22.05.2017.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said appeal is still pending before the first respondent.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
