Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide adequate police protection for ingress and aggress of vehicles and people from in and out of the factory premises and further vacate the trespassing workmen by ensuring that no strike workers assemble illegally in any form within the radius of 500 meters from petitioner's factory premises namely J.K. Tyre & Industries Ltd., Chennai Tyre plant, Sriperumbudur - Tambaram Raod (SH-110)
, Kolathur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk,Kancheepuram District, pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.02.2018. For Petitioner : Mr. K. Rajesh for M/s.T.S. Gopalan and Co.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide adequate police protection for ingress and egress of vehicles and people from in and out of the factory premises and further vacate the trespassing workmen by ensuring that no strike workers assemble illegally in any form within the radius of 500 meters from petitioner's factory premises namely J.K. Tyre & Industries Ltd., Chennai , Sriperumbudur - Tambaram Raod (SH-110) , Kolathur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk,Kancheepuram District, pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.02.2018.
2. In view of the fact that the workers have withdrawn the strike and have resumed work in the petitioner's company, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the writ petition pending and accordingly this writ petition is closed, in view of the subsequent development.
3. If in case any illegal strike takes place in future, disrupting the running of the factory, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent police seeking for police protection and the respondent police shall act in accordance with the earlier direction given by this Court.
