ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested for the offence under Sections 328 of I.P.C. and Section 24 (i) of COTPA Act, 2003 in Cr.No.30 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.It is the case of the prosecution that 140 Kgs. of tobacco products was seized from A1 and A2 and based on the confession given by them the petitioner was implicated.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there are eight previous cases pending against the petitioner and would further submit that the accused are master mind for transportation of illegal tobacco from other States to Tamil Nadu. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the fact that there are eight previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
