This petition was moved by the writ petitioners on the ground that inspite of the interim order passed on 27.02.2025 directing the respondents to maintain status quo, an attempt was made by the Chennai Corporation interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the property. Accordingly, this petition has been filed to implead the Chennai Corporation as respondents 5 and 6.

2.This petition is ordered.

3.Mrs.Aswini Devi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents 5 & 6.

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 5 & 6 submitted that in view of the order of status quo passed by this Court on 27.02.2025, the Chennai Corporation will not further precipitate the matter.

5.Recording the submission, post the main writ petition in W.P.No.7073 of 2025 as was directed by the earlier order dated 27.02.2025. In the mean time, the respondents are directed to file a counter.

06.03.2025 krk NOTE: Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title in W.P.No.7073 of 2025.
