This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to issue joint patta in the name of the petitioners over an extent of 30 acres in Survey No.41/3 bearing Patta No.61 at KarunguzhiPallam Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'For Issuance of Patta', the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioners' representation for issuance of patta has been considered and the same was rejected.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. Hence this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed. There shall be no order as to costs. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
