The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus forbearing the respondents herein and their subordinates from interfering in his possession by digging or constructing any sump in his patta lands situated in S.No.62/1A, 62/1B, 62/2C1 & 62/2C6 of Nedungulam Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District, except by following due process of law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the Status-Quo order granted by this Court dated 27.11.2015, there is nothing proceeded with by the respondents.

3. On the other hand, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 fairly submitted that the respondents would proceed further in this matter, only after following the due process of law.
