Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend time for executing the sureties as directed by this Hon`ble Court in Crl.O.P.No.1752 of 2022 dated 27.01.2022 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.DINESHKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.SANTHOSH, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to execute the sureties in Crl.O.P.No.1752 of 2022 dated 27.01.2022.
2. Though the petitioner was released in anticipation of furnishing sureties within a period of 15 days from the date of release and report before the Cuddalore Town Police Station on every Monday and Saturday, without complying with the condition, the present petition has been filed belatedly for extension of time to furnish sureties.
3. This Court finds no reason for not staying and reporting before the Cuddalore Town Police Station on every Monday and Saturday. Now, the petitioner has come before this Court seeking extension of time to comply with the bail condition. Since the accused was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
arrested in connection with the murder case and after obtaining bail, he has not complied with the condition and participated in the investigation, this Court finds no reason for extension of time. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. Since the petitioner has failed to comply with the bail condition, the bail order stands cancelled.
