Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass orders for revision of pension by counting the service rendered by the petitioner in the erstwhile Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for grant of full pension on retirement from Energy Department in the light of Lok Adalat Award passed in WP (MD) No.12608 of 2011 dated 22.12.2014 in favour of similarly placed person Mr.R.Athinarayanan and by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 19.08.2018 with all consequential and other attendant service benefits.

Mr.A.Aruldoss, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner made a representation dated 19.08.2018 to the respondent seeking revision of pension and the same is under consideration.

3.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.Considering the limited prayer, a direction is given to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
