Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in TPDA.2963 dated 08.03.2017 with reference to detention order No.C2/6388/2017 dated 07.03.2017 setting aside the order of detention passed therein dated 07.03.2017 and direct the respondent to produce the detenu by namely Sekar @ Thuddukku Sekar, S/o.Kullathotti before this Hon'ble Court, now detained in Central Jail at Cuddalore and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in C2/6388/2017 dated 07.03.2017 by the Detaining Authority against the detenue by name, Sekar @ Thudukku Sekar, S/o.Kullathotti and quash the same.

2. There is no representation on the side of the petitioner.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.1790 dated 17.04.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been already revoked.

4. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
