ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for offence under sections 6(4) of TN Scheduled Commodities (RDCS) Order, 1982 r/w. 7(1) (a) (II) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 in Crime Number.45 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein before this Court seeking anticipatory bail for the second time in a case of illegal possession of PDS rice, wherein the respondent police has seized 1,050 kgs of PDS rice and thereafter the petitioners fled from the scene of crime on seeing the riding party.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent persons and he has not involved in any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Considering the quantity of PDS rice involved in the alleged occurrence and further there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
