This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.06.2016, investigate the matter and file a final report in accordance with law.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents-State.

Taking into account, the nature of the allegation in the petitioner's complaint and the fact that the petitioner is an octogenarian lady, who is being ill-treated by her sons, this Court directs the second respondent police to enquire into her complaint dated 24.06.2016 and take action in accordance with law.
