This revision petition is filed praying to direct the learned Family Court Judge, Thiruvallur to dispose of the divorce application in IDOP No. 8 of 2017 within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner filed a divorce application in I.D.O.P No.8/2017 against the respondent, to dissolve the marriage. The respondent is seeking adjournments repeatedly, without filing counter in the divorce petition.
3. According to the petitioner, there is no application pending before the Family Court and therefore there is no impediment to dispose of the divorce application.
4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to direct the Family Court to dispose of the ID OP No.8 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, accordingly.
