ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents police attached to AntiLand Grabbing Cell, Perambalur District not to harass the petitioner, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and I have also perused the records carefully. 3.Vijaya and Venkatraj had given a complaint against the petitioner and the petition enquiry is pending.

4. Under such circumstances, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner could be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be summoned by the respondent police and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioner should submit himself to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent for interrogation and enquiry. It is made clear that this order will not shield if the petitioner is involved in cognizable offence.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
