Since the very dispute is with regard to the payment of compensation to the petitioners land which were sought to be acquired for the very same purpose, these writ petitions are heard together and are disposed of by way of this common order.

These petitions have been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 18.11.2025 and consequently determine and disburse the compensation payable to the petitioner in respect of the acquisition of the petitioners property measuring 1518 sq.ft. in Plot Nos.20 and 19 respectively in Survey No.3/1 situated at Nallore Village, Ponneri Talu, Tiruvallur District.

3. It is the case of the petitioners that they have purchased the subject properties by virtue of sale deeds in the year 1994 and they have been in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property since then. While so, on 11.11.2025, when the petitioner inspected the property to commence

constructions, she was prevented from entering the property that it is acquired for acquisition proceedings. However, no notice whatsoever was served on the petitioner and the compensation was not paid. Hence, the petitioners submitted representations on 18.11.2025 requesting the respondents to disburse the compensation which are pending without consideration till date. Hence, these writ petitions.

The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that for the purpose of construction of building for the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Redhills at Sholavaram in Thiruvallur District, the land is sought to be acquired and the District Collector has granted permission under 23(A) of Revenue Standing Order and submitted that petitioners' representations are considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the first respondent to consider the representations of petitioners dated 18.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. Accordingly, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
