PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.01.2021 with regard to the issuance of patta to the petitioner's property situated at Plot No.135, Vellore Neighbourhood Scheme Area Phase-1 (TNHB), Sathuvachari Village, Vellore, comprised in Survey No.555 (Part), having an extent of 478.34 sq.meter.

ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.01.2021 for issuance of patta to his property in Survey No.555 (part), at Sathuvachari Village, Vellore Dt.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he has made an application seeking for patta on 21.01.2021, subsequently, the 1st respondent directed the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pass suitable orders on 25.02.2021, but so far, it was not considered and no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry in the petitioner's application and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
