O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 1st respondent to appoint the petitioner as Nursing Officer in the 1st respondent institute with all consequential monetary and other benefits."

2. The petitioner would submit that the respondent issued a notification No.6794/IGMC&RI/Estt./Al/2025 dated 07.10.2025, calling for applications from the eligible Indian Citizens who are Natives / Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry for recruitment to the posts of Nursing Officer (Group 'B') in Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Puducherry for filling up 226 posts of Nursing Officers. The petitioner applied for the said post 2/6

under PwPD Category.

3. The petitioner would further submit that the respondent published a selection list on 14.01.2026 in which only 6 persons were selected against the PwPD category and 4 vacancies are kept unfilled. The case of the petitioner is that she had secured 85.1536 marks, however, her name was not included in the provisional selection list. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 29.01.2026 to the respondent in this regard. As there is no response, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered on the basis of the extant rules.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Puducherry), this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on the basis of the extant rules within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a 3/6

copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
