District as eighth Kothu of the temple.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 5, particularly the second respondent, to implement the proceedings and permit the petitioner and his family members to celebrate the eighth day of Aadi Festival of Sri Muthu Mariamman Temple situated at Vadakku Colony, Ko.Aadhanur Village, Vridhachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District as eighth Kothu of the temple.

The relief sought for lost its value on account of efflux of time. Thus, no relief needs to be granted in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
