ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 24.07.2019 seeking for enhancement of compensation and pass suitable orders.

2. According to the petitioner, his land has been acquired under the National Highways Act. Subsequently, award has also been passed in the year 2017. Not being satisfied with the award, the petitioner has filed an application before the respondent on 24.07.2019. But, no order has been passed till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and also the petitioner's application dated 24.07.2019 is pending with the respondent, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 24.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
