Seeking directions to the respondents to grant subsidy amount of Rs.62,00,000/- as per Government order No.38 dated 18.05.2023 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2025, the present writ petition is filed.

4. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
5. The petitioner's concern is engaged in the manufacture of sheets of Soil Erosion Control blankets and garden article using rubberised Coir Garden Article machines. The petitioner's concern is stated to be the first of its kind in Namakkal District. The petitioner had availed loans from the 1st respondent- one dated 07.02.2023 to the extent of Rs.99,00,000/- and another dated 05.01.2024 for Rs.1,10,00,000/-. However, the actual disbursements under the said loans was Rs.95,30,000/- and Rs.1,09,31,000/- respectively. The petitioner had been regularly repaying the loan amounts to the 1st and 2nd respondents. In the meantime, on 18.09.2024, a fire accident occurred at the petitioner's premises causing damage estimated at Rs.2,50,00,000/-. A Police complaint was lodged with Nallur Police Station, Namakkal District and registered as CSR.No.206/2024 dated 03.10.2024. The said report disclosed that the 1st and 2nd respondents, failed to renew the insurance policy with New India Insurance on the date of fire accident for the Page No.3 of 7
petitioner's machineries, and paid very low insurance for the building, for which, the petitioner had received a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- as insurance amount from New India Insurance. The petitioner was granted subsidy amount of Rs.62,00,000/- as per Government order No.38 dated 18.05.2023, but the 1st and 2nd respondents did not allow the petitioner to use the subsidy amount and were pressuring him to repay the loan. Aggrieved by the respondents action, the petitioner submitted a representation on 20.02.2025, to the respondents, but there was no response. The petitioner therefore filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

Though many grounds were raised in support of the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if, this Court issued a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2025 for grant of subsidy amount of Rs.62,00,000/- as per Government order No.38 dated 18.05.2023. In view of the above facts and considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2025, for grant of subsidy amount of Rs.62,00,000/- as per Government order No.38 dated 18.05.2023, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
