ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.594 of 2016 pending on his file.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on the basis of the complaint given by him as against one Sriram, a case was registered in Crime No.594 of 2016 on 13.11.2016. Though the said complaint was registered on 13.11.2016, thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation and till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, on instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in Crime No.594 of 2016, investigation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

was completed and the matter was closed as 'mistake of fact' and RCS notice was also served on the petitioner.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I am of the opinion that nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present Criminal Original Petition is closed.
