Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.JOHN ZACHARIAH, Advocate for M/S.FOX MANDAL AND ASSOCIATES for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed by the petitioner / appellant seeking to condone the delay of 1261 days in representing the above STA.SR.No.107226 of 2018.

2.Heard Mr.John Zachariah, learned counsel for the petitioner / appellant.

3.Having regard to the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the delay is condoned, subject to payment of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) towards costs in favour of the Chief Justice Relief Fund, High Court of Madras, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from today, failing which, this order will stand automatically cancelled.
