The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 4th respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2017 and reminder dated 18.04.2017 for name transfer in patta in respect of S.No.4/1, 14/1, 11/6 in favour of the petitioner situated in Santhiyur Aatiyampatti Village, Salem Taluk and District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2017 and reminder dated 18.04.2017 for name transfer, the 4th respondent has not changed the same so far.

3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the 4th respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and reminder and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2017 and reminder dated 18.04.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
