ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] The petitioner, alleging willful disobedience and noncompliance of the order passed in WP.No.29931/2017 dated 23.11.2017 by the respondent herein, came forward to file the present contempt petition.

subject matter of contempt, has been complied with. The Court heard the submission of Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/contemnor and also perused the Compliance Affidavit dated 22.03.2019 filed by the respondent/contemnor and it would disclose that the encroachment upon the land, admeasuring to an extent of 2.36.5 Hectares, which has been classified as Government Odai Poramboke, has been removed on 21.03.2019. In the light of the said development, the contempt petition is closed. However, the respondent shall ensure that there cannot be any re-encroachment or fresh encroachment on the said land.
