[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in Memo No.C2/6984/2017 dated 13.03.2017, whereby the detenu, namely Thennilavan, S/o Munusamy, aged about 31 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the detenu dated 13.03.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.2111, HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (XIV) DEPARTMENT, dated 02.05.2017 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
