ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to effect water and sewerage connection to her building, comprised in Paimash No.985, situated at Door No.11, T.S. No.34, Block No.31, Plot No.A Parthasarathy Street, Ayanavaram, Chennai 23 by considering her representation dated 05.03.2021. 2.Though the petitioner had submitted a representation and also reminders for the connection of water and sewerage, the same have not been considered so far.
3.On a perusal of the counter affidavit filed by the respondents 2 and 3, it is revealed that as per the guidelines issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.139 dated 15.10.2007 while applying for new drainage and water connection to any building having ground plus three floors and above, 2/4
completion certificate is mandatory. As far as the petitioner is concerned, she constructed Ground + 4 floors for which the completion certificate is required for applying water and sewerage connection. 4.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to produce the completion certificate for the construction made in the land comprised in Paimash No.985, situated at Door No.11, T.S. No.34, Block No.31, Plot No.A Parthasarathy Street, Ayanavaram, Chennai 23 and on receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to provide water and sewerage connection within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
