ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(a) and 4(1)(h) TNP Act in Crime No.100 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.
The petitioner herein is absconding since 19.02.2022 apprehending arrest from the respondent police in connection with seizure of IMFPL liquor bottles kept in three travel bags in his house concealed for selling in black market.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) opposed for granting anticipatory bail on the ground that the petitioner is having 6 previous cases of similar nature by holding liquor bottles of huge quantity and the petitioner is causing revenue loss to the state by selling it in the black market. As per the sezure memo the following items were seized from the residents of the petitioner.
1. King Fisher 650 ML Beer - 24 Bottles
2. 180 ml Mc.Dowell Brandy - 32 Bottles
3. 180 ml Old Chef XX rum - 173 Bottles
4. 180 ml Black Pearl Brandy - 36 Bottles
5. 180 ml Men's club Brandy - 10 Bottles
6. 180 ml old Secret XXX Rum -06 Bottles
7. 180 ml V.S.O.P MGM Gold Brandy -11 Bottles
8. 180 ml King Louis XIV French Brandy -1 Bottles
9. 180 ml Holandas Spanish VSOP Brandy - 4 Bottles
10. 180 ml old monk Rum - 1 Bottle
11. 180 ml 1848 Premium Xo Brandy - 1 Bottle
12. 180 ml Diamond XX Rum - 4 bottles Total 180 X 279 = 50.22, 650 ml X 24 = 15.60 litres. 4.
Considering the quantity of the IMFL liquor and the conduct of the petitioner over past and present, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
