ORDER

These writ petitions have been filed challenging the impugned proceedings dated 9.4.2015 passed by the District Collector, Tirupur, refusing to accept the request of the petitioners to grant lay-out approval. However, during the pendency of the writ petitions, the Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning, Salem Region, in his proceedings bearing Na.Ka.No.7022/2017-Se.Ma.3 dated 21.05.2018, has accepted the request of the petitioners and also granted approval of the layout. In the light of the subsequent order passed by the Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning, Salem Region dated 21.5.2018, the prayer in the writ petitions has become infructuous. The learned counsel for the petitioners has also filed memos to the said effect.

2. Placing on record the copy of the proceedings dated 21.5.2018 passed by the Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning, Salem Region, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, M.P.Nos.1 & 2 of 2015 are also dismissed. No costs.
