conversion of the fourth respondent School at HVF Avadi into Departmental School.

ORDER

Heard Mr.Karthik, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.B.Sudhir Kumar, learned Senior Panel Counsel for the respondents and perused the materials available record.

2. The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the demand raised for conversion of fourth respondentSchool into the Departmental School.

3. On behalf of the petitioner, representations dated 26.04.2010, 28.07.2010, 01.08.2010, 07.01.2011 were submitted. The grievance of the petitioner is that the official respondents have not acted on the representations of the petitioner.

4. Considering the fact that the Writ Petition is pending for more than 10 years, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation, if the grievance is not rectified or resolved by the respondents, within a period of two weeks, by enclosing a copy of this order. On such receipt, concerned official respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders after providing opportunity to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks therefrom.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
