Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent in letter No.25719/UD-VI(1)/2018-5, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 08.03.2019 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents 2 to 6 from in any way interfering with the peaceful possession and occupation of the petitioners in the buildings in any manner.

O R D E R

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent in letter No.25719/UD-VI(1)/2018-5, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 08.03.2019, quash the same and consequently for a direction to the respondents 2 to 6, from in any way not to interfere with the peaceful possession and occupation of the petitioners in the building in any manner.

2. Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 6 submitted that pursuant to the order, the building was sealed and one tenant has also taken away all the belongings. However the learned counsel for the respondents 7 & 8 submitted that application for demolish and reconstruction had been submitted and the same was rejected. Thus the learned counsel appearing for the Corporation submitted that now nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
