Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. It is seen that the petitioner was issued with a charge memo dated 01.11.1999 for certain alleged irregularities committed by him. On receipt of charge memo, the petitioner had also submitted his explanation on 30.08.2005 denying all the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

charges levelled against him. The Enquiry Officer, upon perusing the materials placed before him, submitted his report dated 22.01.2007 holding the petitioner guilty of all the charges levelled against him. In such circumstances, it is the grievance of the petitioner that though he has submitted his explanations on receipt of above said report, the respondent department has not come forward to pass the final orders. Thus, the present writ petition.

3. Considering the fact that the Enquiry Officer had already submitted his report on 22.01.2007 and by considering another fact that the petitioner had also submitted his explanation on 22.08.2013 upon receiving such report, the first respondent is directed to pass final orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. WMP No.13182 of 2016 is closed.
