Writ appeals filed under clause 15 of the Letters Patent filed against the orders of this Court made in W.P.Nos.6802 to 6806 of 2008, dated 16.04.2010. Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a certiorarified Mandamus as any other writ as order or similar nature calling for the records relating to G.O.Ms.No.7 dt 18.1.2008 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same consequently direct the respondents to fix the seniority of the petitioner from the date of regularization i.e. 6.3.1981, 30.07.1982, 15.12.1986, 31.05.1982, 09.11.1982 respectively with consequential benefits. On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.P.Ganesan, learned counsel for the appellants submitted that the appellants have retired from service. Issue involved in these writ appeals is inter-se seniority. Material on record discloses that services of the appellants have been regularised long back.
