Heard Mr. M.Radhakrishnan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. K.Karthikeyan, Learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the Respondent, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondent to decide the representation dated 12.01.2024 made by the Petitioners to the Respondent for handing over the administration of Arulmigu Chennappar Temple, Arasamara Pillaiyar Koyil Street, Chinnakadi Veedhi, Salem, on merits and in accordance with law within the time limit that may be fixed by the Court. 3.

Since proper representation has not been made to the concerned authority for the relief sought, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the rights of the Petitioners to make necessary representation to the concerned authority and depending upon its outcome, to work out their remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law, and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid clarifications. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
