The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 08.02.2016 for renewal of stage carriage permit in respect of route from Dharmapuri to Thanippadi, for the period from 09.02.1989 to 08.02.2019 and grant the renewal of stage carriage permit to the petitioner.

Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

In the light of the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the claim made in the representation, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2016, after affording reasonable opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, if necessary, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
