Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 21.02.2017 in C3/DO/03/2017 against the petitioner's husband Thirugnanam, son of Karupaiya, aged about 42 years, who is confirned at central prison, Cuddalore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu herein by name Thirugnanam, aged 42 years, S/o.Karupaiya, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 21.02.2017 against her husband branding him as a "Bootlegger" under Section 3(1) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 17.02.2017 has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt No.1773, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department dated 17.04.2017 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
