Though the writ petition was partly allowed on the previous occasion, when the case was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent has now filed a memo and submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous as the petitioner has been evicted from the premises under the provisions of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants), Act, 1971.

2. Thus, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. This Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to work out appropriate remedy in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
