Respondents PRAYER: This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to order in No.L.Dis.No.4216/E3/15, dated 21.08.2008 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same to change petitioner's date of birth in service register from 10.02.1962 to 28.09.1964.

ORDER

This writ petition came up for consideration before this Court on 23.10.2024. As there was no representation for the petitioner on that day, the same was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal" on 28.10.2024.

2. Today, in spite of the matter being listed under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner either during prelunch session or post lunch session. In the circumstances, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the same for non-prosecution.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
