Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to include the petitioner's name in the list of Eligible Candidate to participate in the Mop Up round of PG Medical Counselling 2021 and permit the petitioner to participate for PG Medical Counselling 2021 Mop Up round in Roll No.2166120443.

O R D E R

The petitioner has sought a mandamus directing the respondents to include her name in the list of eligible candidates to participate in mop-up counselling for PG Medical counselling 2021.

2.This petitioner had filed a writ petition earlier in WP.No.5986 of 2022, pursuant to which her category had been changed from General to O.B.C. Now she has again approached this Court seeking a mandamus as aforesaid.

3.Ms.P.G.Anitha, learned Additional Central Government Standing Counsel appears for R1 and R3, R3 being the contesting respondent would circulate a letter dated 04.04.2022, wherein, in conclusion, the Assistant Director General (ME) & Member Secretary, MCC states as follows:- 'In view of the above, your representation was considered by the Competent Authority and it has been decided to change your category from UR to OBC. Furthermore, since you have not registered on the MCC portal, you may register on the MCC website after paying the requisite fee for participating in the New Mop-up Round of NEET-PG Counselling, 2021 as per the schedule uploaded on the MCC website.'

4.Thus, what remains for the petitioner to take steps to register herself on the portal upon payment of requisite fee in order to participate in the ensuing Mop-up Counselling. 5.Learned counsel also conveys oral instructions of R3 to the effect that the petitioner's name would figure in the final list of candidates for participation in Mop-up Counselling. This is recorded.
